Capital, Lockheed-Martin, and VeriFone.  Dusty’s areas of expertise include Schedule and Cost Analysis, Business Information Systems, Workforce Forecasting, Project Metrics, and Applied Information Technologies.

Johnny joined the US Air Force in 1967 and rose to the rank of Major.  For the first half of his 27 year career he was a weatherman supporting world-wide requirements for Airlift, Reconnaissance and Intelligence operations.  The last half, he was responsible for developing plans, programs and budgets for the personnel requirements of Weather, Airlift and Special Operations Forces world-wide.  He was the first personnel requirements officer assigned to the United States Special Operation Command in Tampa Florida; his primary responsibility was approving the personnel requirements for all Air Force Special Operations Forces as well as all Army Green Beret, Army Ranger, Navy SEAL and Navy special boat units. 

 

Johnny's last assignment was as the overseer of the financial requirements for the Headquarters US Air Force and all of its direct reporting and field operating units.  He retired from the military at the Pentagon in 1994.  Johnny's background and Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Maryland bring a seasoned staff and business approach to the accounting section.

Steve Kinney graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences from Troy State, and served as a Network Engineer in the US Army for twelve years.  Afterwards, he finished his MBA and continued government service as a county-level security CIS in Mississippi for fourteen years, where he compiled and managed all of the department's IT needs, established IT recommendations, managed IT staff, and set the computer standards for multiple departments.  Steve has had system administration and Unix experience since 1993.  He is familiar with Solaris, Linux, Digital Unix, as well as a variety of subsystems.

Steve loves to work with security and firewalls. He is familiar with Cisco policy-based routing of QoS, MLP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4, VPN PPTP. (Cisco 700, 800, 1700, 2500, 2600, 5200, 7200, Catalyst 2900, 5000)  Aside from administration, Steve is also active in development, working in Perl, C, C++, XML, CVS, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, as well as the relational database management systems Sybase System XI DBA, MySQL, and Oracle.

Among his many accomplishments, Bill was responsible for developing database administration applications in Java for the Social Services Division Administration, Department of Community Health and Social Services Oregon.  Bill received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts at the University of Southern California.

Leslie graduated at the University of Missouri-Columbia, with a focus on Media.  She works with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, GIF Construction Set, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Ultra Dev, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Freehand, Cold Fusion, SQL, Javascript, PhotoVista (Real VR) and business software including Word, Excel, Publisher, Pagemaker, Power Point, and Quickbooks Pro.

 

Leslie isn’t afraid of Macs, Unix or OS/2 and has successfully created original collateral such as business cards, application forms, brochures and logos. When not actively on a project, Leslie is constantly engaged in research on the internet to keep up to date with new developments and multi-media marketing strategies. Leslie has developed logos, icons and illustrations for programs, training materials, and the Web Sites of several companies including Abbott Laboratories, Zymed, and Vector.

 

 


 

 

Richard Hardesty,

Mr. Hardesty  has over thirty years experience in government contracting, and is extremely well-versed in contract law. After spending 24 years in the U.S. Air Force, he worked for Sperry Defense Systems on the Saudi Naval Expansion Program as a Program Manager and negotiator. He has served as Manager of the Procurement Technical Assistance Program at the University of South Florida for the past twelve years. During his final position as PTAC Manager, he taught over 600 seminars covering all aspects of government contracting, and has assisted over 9,000 small businesses in achieving sales to government agencies in excess of $1,000,000,000!

 

 Mr. Hardesty served as the NVP-E and NVP for the Southeast Region, NVP & Secretary, and NVP for Membership. He is a five time winner of the James E. Cravens award and previously volunteered for the Special Topic committees in acquisition ethics and contract management education. He is also an active SCORE cyber counselor and advises clients all over the world.

 

 He obtained his BSBA in Management from Saint Leo College of Florida, and an MPA from Golden Gate University of San Francisco. He is an active lecturer and frequently is called upon to teach the National Education Seminars for NCMA. Mr. Hardesty currently serves as the National Director of the Suncoast Chapter of NCMA.

Virginia is an IS Professional with 18 years of IT experience spanning compiler development, application development, relational database development, and project management.   She has extensive experience interfacing with end-user groups to understand, gather, and analyze business requirements. 

 

In addition she has presented projects, demonstrated applications, and trained large groups of users on software she has developed, as well as developing the users guides, maintenance manuals and training manuals.  Having an artistic background has enabled her to work with computer graphics packages and develop websites, brochures, and other marketing aids.  All of this experience was gathered while working at .the Naval Air Warfare Center in Lakehurst New Jersey, BELLCORE, and the Merrill Lynch Corporate Center.

 

 Virginia received her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Vermont, and her Master of Arts Degree at Montclair State University.  Her certifications include, Oracle 8i DBA Certified Professional, Java for Oracle 8i Development Certified Professional, and Java Programming Certified Professional, all from Learning Tree International.
